Fashion designer Yeohlee Teng reception with AMD students

Fashion designer Yeohlee Teng, founder of the New York City-based design house YEOHLEE Inc., will share her design philosophy and views on sustainability from 2:10 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3 in 0001 MacKay. Apparel, merchandising, and design students will then have a chance to visit with her during a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in the LeBaron Hall lobby. She’ll continue her visit Wednesday, Oct. 4 by visiting students in pattern making and fashion illustration classes. Teng in 2004 received the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award for fashion design. This past spring, she showcased some of her designs in an exhibition at the Phoenix Art Museum. Her visit to Iowa State is hosted by the Department of Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Management. More».
