Marcketti named Fellow of Costume Society of America

Sara Marcketti, a professor in apparel, merchandising, and design and interim director of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, will receive the Fellow Award from the Costume Society of America. Deemed CSA’s highest honor, the award recognizes Marcketti for providing outstanding leadership and contributions to the field of costume. As a Fellow, she also is considered an exemplary mentor for other members. Marcketti will be recognized for the honor annually, beginning in March at the CSA National Symposium in Williamsburg, Virginia. She also serves the organization as president-elect. CSA members are people involved in the study, education, collection, preservation, presentation, and interpretation of dress and appearance in past, present, and future societies. More».
