Students receive recognition in New York City
Iowa State University students Daniel Schoonover, Sara VonAhn, and Kira White, were each recipients of the prestigious Young Menswear Association (YMA) scholarship for the 2007-2008 academic year. The students each received a $5,000 scholarship to help pay tuition.
National Teacher of the Year
Kendra Naef, a graduate student in FCEdS, was honored at the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences annual meeting in June as the AAFCS Teacher of the Year.
