The Apparel, Merchandising, and Design Graduate Student Association will provide graduate students in apparel, merchandising, and design at Iowa State University opportunities to: promote closer ties and collaboration between members, foster relationships between members and industry professionals, encourage community involvement, sponsor activities to promote research and scholarship, and provide opportunities for professional development.
The Cyclone Chapter of Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) is a pre-professional hospitality club that focuses on the advancement of the club management profession. Our mission is to enrich our club through educational sessions through guest lectures from area club managers, attending meetings throughout the state, club tours, fine dining events, seminars, enhancing resumes, organizing and participating in fund-raising events, enriching the community, and a goal of raising awareness and funds to attend an annual national conference.

The Kappa Omicron Nu, founded at Iowa State May 1913, is a national honor society dedicated to recognizing and encouraging excellence in scholarship, research, and leadership development.
MODA is a student-run organization. It serves as a forum to examine and discuss important issues in the business of fashion, encourages students to develop knowledge, skills, and talents related to fashion outside of the formal classroom, provides activities and programs to enhance networking skills, and encourages work experience, internships, and careers in fashion. Members participate in activities including meetings, trips, service events, and campus activities.
The National Society of Minorities in Hospitality (NSMH) is a professional organization for minority hospitality students that addresses diversity and multiculturalism, as well as the career development of student members. NSMH provides events and programs that bring together college-level students with company sponsors, industry representatives, other hospitality organizations, advisers and mentors, and hospitality high school students.
