The Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management program at Iowa State University is pleased to offer a study abroad program focusing on hospitality. Hospitality in international locations and its impact on tourism is the focus of this three-week program.
Through educational experiences, students will better understand the impact of tourism on the economy of the country visited. Experiences will include participation in the lodging and food service industries. Students will also assess tourism as they particpate in many tourist activities.

The Textiles and Clothing program offers:
- Two field study courses for international field experiences
- Semester-long study abroad agreements with colleges and universities in England, France, Ireland
- Summer international internships
Europe: London/Paris/Florence (TC 381/581). May 2004, 2006. 3 credits.
- Focus on European design, merchandising, and production of fashion
- Be amazed and inspired by historic and haute couture costume designs at Victoria & Albert, Kensington Palace, and Louvre Museums
- Explore uniquely European retailing opportunities including retailers such as f.c.u.k., Kookai, Zara, and Harrods
- Tour the production facilities of famous designers such as Zandra Rhodes and Roberto Cavalli
- Spot the latest trends on the streets and in store displays
