The Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management program at Iowa State University is pleased to offer a study abroad program focusing on hospitality in Thailand. Hospitality in Thailand and its impact on tourism is the focus of this three-week program.

Through educational experiences, students will better understand the impact of tourism on the economy of Thailand. Experiences will include participation in the Novotel; attend the Novotel School of Hospitality to learn the Siam Secrets of Service; visits to local food stands, night markets, and a floating market; and visit with a Bhuddist monk who will teach students how to do basic meditation. Students will also assess tourism as they particpate in many tourist activities.
