The Quantity Food Production and Service Management Experience class operates the Joan Bice Underwood Tearoom. It is a non-profit, 105-seat learning laboratory, with an emphasis on educational rather than business goals. Meal service is provided for faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
Students take responsibility for planning, preparing, and serving the noon meal, which is made up of an entrée, salad/vegetable, bread, dessert, and a beverage.
Seating for the meal is at 12:00 noon,
Monday through Friday.
Reservations are required.
The price of the meal is $5.90. The Tearoom is now accepting CyCash, Dining Dollars, and the ISU Dining Faculty/Staff Charge
Plan as payment for lunches.
Students also prepare and serve cherry
pies during Iowa State 's annual Veishea
festival.
