Designed for a Modern Life: Decorative Arts and Fashion in the Mid-century: 5 p.m.-12 a.m., Textiles and Clothing Museum, Christian Petersen Art Museum, Morrill Hall - The exhibition includes selections from both permanent collections and select loans, including objects from designers such as Charles and Ray Eames, Roy Lichtenstein, Pricilla Sage, Paul Sachs, James Galanos, and Christian Dior.
The exhibition will run through April 13, 2019. Admission is free. University Museums and the Textiles and Clothing Museum will also be hosting a series of programs centered on the exhibition including a themed opening reception, Cocktails and Canapes, on Nov. 2, 2018.

Topics will include an overview of international education at Iowa State, services and support, study abroad program characteristics and models, responsibilities for program directors, and how to propose your program idea. This session is ideal for faculty interested in leading a new study abroad program at spring break 2020 or summer 2020.
