Application deadline for CHS scholarships that support unpaid internships or student teaching that occur during the spring of 2020: 11:59 p.m., online - These scholarships are for CHS undergraduate students who enroll in internships or student teaching experiences that have no other form of compensation. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $2,000. Larger awards will be considered for students serving in unpaid experiences within the state of Iowa. More».

College of Human Sciences Undergraduate Convocation: 2-3:30 p.m., C.Y. Stephens Auditorium - The College of Human Sciences convocation provides special, individual recognition for each graduating CHS undergraduate student who attends. The convocation is a separate event from the Iowa State University Undergraduate Commencement Ceremonies. The convocation will last approximately 90 minutes, and will include comments from a student speaker and Laura Jolly, dean and Dean's Chair of the college. A reception immediately follows, around 3:30 p.m., in the first floor lobby of the Scheman Building. Undergraduate students, families, and friends are encouraged to attend, as are graduate students. Big 12 Virtual Career Fair: in cyberspace - Building on momentum from the inaugural Big 12 Virtual Career Fair held in 2019, Iowa State University will again join other Big 12 schools to offer a similar career fair in 2020. More details will be posted here as they become available.
