I was responsible for...
I was able to learn how a retail segment of a non-profit organization operated. I was also able to learn what it was like to work with licensed vendors and work with sales data

I accomplished...
For my final project I was able to work with my supervisor and licensed vendors to order new crew necks and t-shirts for the shop. I was able to talk to vendors about making designs for the merchandise as well as picking out colors, quantity, and sizing.

I learned...
The greatest lesson I learned is what it was like to work for a national non-profit brand and having customers that were also volunteers.

Advice for others...
Don't be afraid to ask questions or network during your internship. If you're confused or struggling just ask for help and ask your supervisor or manager to go to lunch one day!
