I was responsible for...
My responsibilities varied depending on my venue that I was working. I was in charge of supervising 5-15 students daily. I would delegate tasks in order to get jobs completed in a timely and efficient manner. Aside from supervising student workers I also was responsible for following recipes and food safety policies carefully. I then also had to complete a project which was to create a new name tag board for our establishment.

I will never forget...
I think the most memorable experience I had would be building a relationship with all of my coworkers and supervisors. Through the coursework provided through AESHM 470, I really noticed the communication that I was lacking and was able to work on those problems. In turn, my communication became so much better and the I found out so many things about the people I had been working with for 4 years that I didn't know before.

Advice for others...
Stay ahead on your coursework and any work that your management gives you. Try and see where they are coming from and try to understand their opinions. By completing their tasks in a timely manner and staying ahead in all of your work, so much stress will be taken off of you.
