I was responsible for...
As the marketing intern, I was responsible for making flyers for events at the 14 salon locations on Adobe Creative Suite, posting content to the website, and assisting in various ways with a modeling competition put on by Mario Tricoci.

I accomplished...
Working and thriving in high stress situations, like photo shoots, difficult situations, and time constraints.

I learned...
The people made the job. Every day I went to my internship, I was happy to see the people at the office. I became friends with my co-workers and they made my internship that much more enjoyable. Apply to internships that might scare you. When I saw the posting for a marketing internship, I wasn't sure if I had the qualifications to do the job well, but I applied anyway. Looking back, I can't imagine my summer without interning at Mario Tricoci. It was the best experience.

Advice for others...
Work hard, persevere, and you will find an internship. Have a good attitude even if everything stinks. People will notice.
