I was responsible for...
At the Annie O Enterprises showroom I helped manage eight women's contemporary brands. This included traveling to conduct on-site apparel sales at specialty stores and attending apparel trade shows. I also developed content for social media including Instagram and Facebook.
My greatest accomplishment was being able to experience a wholesale apparel trade show. It was an amazing learning experience to see how it is run and how the environment of a trade show feels.
My greatest lesson was learning to do the little things that are required for an internship that you may not want to do but are necessary and will help you gain trust by your supervisor. You must do everything you are assigned whether or not it is a small or big task, every task is important when you're running/working for a business.
Advice for others...
My advice for future interns is to put your all into your internship and keep yourself busy even when you aren't assigned anything to do. There are things that always need to be done and when you're in a real life job you aren't being told what to do constantly.
