I am very glad that I got to have the opportunity to explore the company and work with several different people performing various tasks throughout my internship. Through my internship I have discovered what I like best within the company and that will help guide my career options.
I learned many aspects about the company during my internship. One of the main things I learned this summer was how competitive and intense buying is. There is so much that goes into buying that I did not know before this summer.
Advice for others...
Having an internship that offers you more than one task all summer is a huge advantage and an opportunity you should take. It will help you to know what you like/don't like within the industry. Also,be proficient in Excel. I had no idea how much you really do use Excel in the fashion industry until this summer.
