I was responsible for...
Sample coordination, assisted during LA Market. Running ATS reports on ATM and ALC, order confirmations and checking in new collections and putting garments in line-sheet order. Hanging and steaming of garments and calling accounts to update system information.

I accomplished...
Given the opportunity to take over bosses position while she is out of the office for a month.

I learned...
I learned how to own my opinions and not be afraid to speak up when I have ideas. I also learned the importance of networking - whether it be with employees of 10 Eleven or different accounts that come in to shop our brands. It's all about who you know.

Advice for others...
Never be afraid to speak up when you have an idea - even when someone didn't ask for your opinion. By putting yourself out there it proves you aren't afraid to try new things and truly want to learn more and gain knowledge about the industry. And always have fun in anything you are doing! Looking at the bright side of even the smallest and most boring tasks makes for a better experience.
