An impact to my life...
had never been to Europe prior to this trip, therefore the whole trip was new experiences for me. Going on in life, I am positive that I want to return to Europe and see what else it has to offer. I am able to see the fashion world in a different perspective, due to experiencing the different cultures within Europe. Career-wise, I wouldn’t be opposed to working abroad for a year or two, due to this trip.
My most valuable learning experience...
The thing that I learned most about this trip was how it impacted me personally. Coming from a small town in Iowa, this trip lead me to believe that life is full of so many opportunities and beautiful places out there.
I will never forget...
The most memorable experience for me was being able to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower. It is one of the most popular landmarks in the world, and being able to experience it fully is something that I’ll never forget.
A surprising discovery...
I hadn’t ever heard much about Belgium prior to this trip, and it is without a doubt the most underrated place I went. It was quaint, medieval, and felt like a storybook or fairytale. I would love to go back to Bruges, Belgium and stay for weeks!
Advice for others...
Take the chance. Sign up for a program. Explore. Learn. Take in every moment. College is the time to do these crazy things, and I am SO GLAD that I did.
